Tokyo Photographic Art Museum

The Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Photography is one of the few museums in the world that specializes in photography and video (established in January 1995). In the three exhibition rooms, there are collection exhibitions that select themes from among the 37,312 works in the collection (as of the end of March 2023), including rare works, and unique perspectives on outstanding works from Japan and abroad. We hold approximately 20 exhibitions a year, including the special exhibitions introduced at , with a lineup that takes advantage of our rich expertise and depth. In addition, in the hall on the first floor, we also screen high-quality works with the theme of art and humanity.
