Kunstraum Lakeside
The Lakeside art space is a place for the production and presentation of contemporary international art with the program of a critical discussion of socially relevant aspects of the economy. Located in the Lakeside Science & Technology Park in the immediate vicinity of the University of Klagenfurt , the art space operates in the field of tension between economic, scientific and cultural research, practices and forms of discourse. With the permanent establishment of the art space, the public character of the art program is strengthened and the art institutional landscape of the Carinthia region is expanded and enriched by a unique place for critical artistic-theoretical debate on a supra-regional level.
